The view from the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean, minus a few crabs, spiders and centipedes. This resort is dated but that enhanced the old European theme! s. Breakfast was good and the staff was courteous. The Miyako Resort Shima Bayside was a good choice for our family’s getaway and different from the typical Japanese hotels. Negative- not enough food options for children and the poolside cafe was closed during our stay.
