Do I have to stop for lunch after 9 holes in Japan?

In Japan (except Hokkaido and Okinawa), your round will include a compulsory lunch break which means after the first 9 holes, you need to have a lunch break before continuing with another 9 holes. The lunch break is mandatory regardless of your tee time – if you wish, you can skip having lunch but you will not gte a refund. When you have completed the first 9 holes, you will be notified the tee time for the next 9 holes.
